Carolin Ye joins Pretty Wild’s design team as Artistic Director, a role that bridges East and West.
Carolin will collaborate with Pretty Wild’s Amsterdam creative team as well as a curated ensemble of Dutch and European artisans, collectively dedicated to reignite, preserve and expand the Art of Dutch Design & Lace Heritage globally. Carolin Ye is amongst China’s emerging fashion design elite and the Founder/Creative Director behind Carolin’s Code, a joint Venture with South Korean actress Kim Hee-sun.
Carolin Ye’s design career began in 2008, having earned her fashion degree in China. She briefly studied at Several International Design Colleges in United Kingdom, prior to an early departure to establish her design studio in Shanghai. Carolin credits her innate passion for fabrics, fine perception of color spectrums and eclectic style aesthetics as key contributions to her avant-garde design approach. Between 2008 and 2012 Carolin served Creative Design roles within multiple top Chinese fashion companies. In 2012 Carolin established a design studio in Shanghai, centered on exclusive designs for China’s celebrity elite. In 2016 she founded Carolin’s Code with the family business of South Korean actress Kim Hee-Seon. Mr. Park, Ju Yeong, Mrs. Kim Hee-Seon’s husband, sits on the board of Carolin’s Code, and both contribute to the brand’s collaboration with elite celebrities.
Carolin’s signature lends credence to the company and implies her own style is at the heart the Carolin brand.Carolin continues to grow as an emerging voice of China’s fashion industry with every piece of her work which pervade with passion and enthusiasm.
